Bruce, the owner, called me to apologize for his staff taking my table away even though I had reserved it one month in advance for a very special occasion. He assured me that this is not common practice at Riverstone Tavern. He also said he realized that his apology was late, but he was just made aware of the issue today(6 weeks later).
I appreciate his contacting me, and his apology. He assured me he would make certain the staff understands how best to deal with these situations in the future.
I accepted his apology and wished him well.
