Wow this was an interesting experience. I knew I wanted to try it at least once but was unsure if I'd like it. Btw, I didn't like it but the service was pretty great. I first started out with a Closed System Colonic which I'd heard online was the better option. It involved a thicker tube but you're laying on a regular mattress instead of a plastic bed/basin. However, the tube malfunctioned and the lady recommended I switch to Open System Colonic. With open system, I was in more control of the flushing but the sensation was terrible. I lasted the whole hour but I wish I'd only had a half hour session.
The second thing I tried was ear candling. I'd read some online reviews that ear candling was a hoax and after experiencing it for myself, I couldn't agree more. I felt almost no benefit from the ear candling other than it making me feel calm and sleepy.
The last thing I experienced was their steam room which was an add-on to my colonic. The steam room was definitely the best part. The 30 minutes in hot steam was so meditative and detoxing that the moment I left the room, I felt so refreshed and exhilarated.
Service was pretty great. After all of my sessions, they gave me alkaline water and homemade soup that was very delicious. I even got to take a shower there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is a fan of colonics. I am not, so I probably won't be going back anytime soon unless it is to use their steam room.
