  • This place has had its ups and downs for several months. Now, the transition and remerchandising is noticable... From more sample stations, new Teavana bags, promotional incentives and some amazing wellness teas and other tasty flavors which will make you want to try more. Even better... is the exceptional customer service people are putting into this particular location. Taylor, Saquoia, Melissa... there are a couple others I will mention too... especially the one who is multi tasking everywhere throughout the store and doesn't miss to greet anyone, WOW! THAT girl is Alessia... previously only referred to as the girl who is always smiling and cleaning and multi tasking and in Doc Martins and a cute fuzzy sweater Sadly, Teavanna is going to be shutting down ALL their locations. YES! STARBUCKS... Who also owns Teavanna, are going to close every Teavanna location! Terrible thing to do. Especially with the dedication these employees put into the stores and really, how many Starbucks locations do you want to saturate the market with? You have locations across the street from another and are having regional shopping centres with 2 Starbucks inside! The corporate pencil pushers see numbers not logic. Sorry. Think of your customers first. NOT your spreadsheets and financial advisors and chair people! Like other real big expansions... the bubble bursts and you can't turn back. You failed when you bought la boulange. People liked it. You want consistency in every location.... you don't think people have different tastes and buying practices depending on culture, traditions, gender and income. COMMON SENSE BUSINESS PRACTICES... Study your demographics. Who is buying coffee, who is buying tea. The locations which are not profiting... close them. The Starbucks which are not profiting... close them.. change the names... OR Starbucks sells coffee and all Teavanna teas.... THAT is too much common sense for a Friday afternoon at the boardroom. In my opinion, it's a team which works well together, obviously they enjoy what they are doing, and the customer service they provide in such a busy location... They deserve to be recognized for their hard work and dedication to each person who walks into the store. Thanks so much. Carlo Gon Girls, if you need references, please let me know. I will continue to support your location. However, IF Teavanna goes... I will NOT SUPPORT STARBUCKS. Too many dedicated employees losing their jobs. Not fair. Even the new cool manager that started less than 2 months ago.... It's a great team. Too bad nobody at head office will ever know... unless you seen it for yourself.
