| - Last minute reservations were made here for CES 2018. We had a 2 bedroom panoramic suite.
Upon arrival, there was a small line to check-in, but it moved quickly. We had 2 other rooms reserved and check on them at check-in and confirmed they were ready for when our other guests arrived.
In addition, they had a line to pick up your CES badges right next to check-in, so I found that very convenient (the line at the airport for badges was over 1 1/2 hours; whereas, it took me only 5 minutes to get my badge in the Mandalay lobby).
The suite provides 2 seating areas, side by side, while bedrooms are on opposite sides of the suite with their own bathrooms.
So why 3 stars?
-They do not use plush towels; poor quality towels
-Hotel lost internet for most of one of the days we were there
-room service quoted 1 1/2 hours for 2 pots of coffee (plus, they don't have cappuccinos or lattes, just coffee)
-despite having confirmed all of our rooms; when one of our guests checked-in, they said they had no rooms left at Mandalay and put him over at the Delano
-finally, I know this is unusual, but it rained for a couple of days while I was there and there is very little lighting in the rooms for cloudy days (I had to move a lamp to the desk)
In conclusion, they need to step it up to compete with all the other hotels.
