Oh Papa J's, what has happened to you?? When we used to dine in, it felt like we were in someone's home in Italy and almost made us forget we were in the middle of Pittsburgh. Although the waitstaff is still very friendly, all the food just falls flat.
This last time, The chicken Picata comes in a bland, buttery soup, with rubbery, warm chicken- no capers and with brown, overcooked broccoli. The pasta bolognese had no semblance of meat in it and was completely bland.
After so many times of chalking up to "maybe they are just having a bad night"and giving it just one more try, we unfortunately can't come back.
