VIBE
Bright and "Breakfasty," Boom Breakfast & Company welcomes you in quickly and proceeds to get you a seat. I was surprised because at 11 a.m. on a Saturday most brunch places would have a line up so it was nice not to wait.
I quite like the yellow egg murals they have in the back area. Service is friendly and brief.
WE ATE
The Boom Benny. Salmon and spinach are the accessories on this Benny. It's not the best benny I've had but it satiated the hunger. The homefries have this seasoning that make them addictive. On top of that, the dish is served with pineapple, an orange and melon.
The freshly squeezed orange juice is overpriced at $4 for the glass. It would be nice to have a small or large option.
OBLIGATORY CATCHY REMARK
Not the biggest BOOM but a small hum to get the day going. It's a good option with the lack of breakfast places in the College/Ossington area.
