| - i went here for my first time with a friend who's a big fan of this place. now, i had a really hard time deciding how many stars to give grist. on one hand, i loved each beer that i tried, the bartenders were attentive and friendly, the prices fair, and the atmosphere super cute. on the other hand, it was small and got crowded quickly, not great parking, and HOT AS HADES. (okay, the last part was totally the weather's fault, not the bar's, but they might need a few more fans in there for 90 degree days...)
they paired with duncan st. dinners for an event, which makes me hope they'll do more things like that because it was a cool set up - yes, crowded, but at least there was outside space (for example, i saw a few people smoking but never even smelled it) with a live band and everything. i do hear they have food trucks come around sometimes which is a fun idea too!
