  • Pretty much everything that can be said about this park has already been said. I'm here to put in my two cents about the greenway that runs through Freedom Park. Little Sugar Creek greenway meanders along the East border of the park and offers runners (and walkers, I guess) a great route. The route starts on the South side of the park and used to terminate at the Metropolitan area, but will be extended further in the near future (unless they've already extended it). It's a great morning run route as the park is nice and tranquil, and there are random water fountains scattered about..okay I've only seen two water fountains, but they're located in convenient spots. The route is fast and flat, so if you're looking for a hill workout, you'll need to search elsewhere. Side note: I'll be camping out here to creep on the Bachelorette filming...they have to come back here, it's where Brad tried to make a connection with Emily's kid! Yes, I watch this show, don't judge. Actually, judge away, it's trash, but I get to drink wine and make witty comments when I watch.
