  • UPDATE:::::: I have been listening to this pastor for a while now and I really enjoy his sermons. I decided to go in person on Christmas Eve. I was disappointed. Upon walking in I saw Christmas trees and presents all presenting the wrong interpretation of "Christmas." Then they had child story time where all the kids came up and a women read a book. It went along the lines of " did santa create Christmas? Nooooo God/Jesus did!!!" WHAT!?!?!? Whereeeeeee does it say in the Bible that God created Christmas!???? It was actually created officially by Pope Julius I And actually it's impossible for Jesus to have been born in the winter. It also frowns on celebrating birthdays in the Bible saying these are celebrations of heathens. I was extremely disappointed that santa was even mentioned in church. The book even goes further and says : even though santa represents good things...... WHAT!???? Why are you promoting this!?!? If I was a parent I would've STOPPED THEM RIGHT THERE Real Christian Children should know there is no santa and that it is a pagan religion! Why are Christian's so afraid to speak up! I also saw a little girl wearing a full santa outfit I mean after all this I was sorely disappointed. Trust me I'm no saint but I come to church to get the truth no matter how hard it might be to take. This church played it way safe obviously not wanting to offend, by letting us know: God invented Christmas (FALSE!) Oh but "santa" is still good Well in this case I was offended and let down. This kind of teaching is the exact reason why we have atheists in the first place. Beware following of the masses! It says this in the Bible! How can this pastor be so good at his sermons online, and be okay with his WIFE reading a dang Santa/ Jesus book. PEOPLE ARE LISTENING TO YOU! IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE A LEADER THEN LEAD!!!!! Don't follow the masses, and join in on celebrations of pagan holidays and pagan teachings. UPDATE: "Since then I haven't even listened to this pastor anymore" I'm very disappointed and let down in this pastor. Also because I brought a new Christian in and this did not HELP with her new found belief. They need some serious thinking on what they're promoting here.
