  • Strolled by Tres Leches Cafe today while in Phoenix, which rarely happens (me being in Phoenix) and I really enjoyed the place. After pulling up, you will find the location is a VERY small house type coffee shop place, haha. There is limited parking on the north side of the business. There is a large parking lot to the west, however there are plenty of signs to let you know, specifically, that those spots are NOT for Tres Leches. The property is really unique with plenty of themed seating and trinkets around. Walking inside through and through the door you will find an super tiny place with maybe one or two small tables and a few chairs to sit in. I'd say this area is more for waiting for your drink before heading out than it is to sit and work for awhile. It is especially not for large groups / group projects. I met up with the cashier at the front and they were extremely nice and friendly. I asked what the best thing was and the lady laughed and said that was common and recommended the top three on the menu. These are: Tres Aztecas, Cafe Horchata, and Cafe Churro. I ended getting the Cafe Churro because, lets be honest, it has Churro in it... who doesn't like Churros!? (get out if you dont... jk just don't get it) One thing I thought was cool is there are VEGAN options for drinks here too - see my photo of the menu. Overall, the drink was pretty great. It was like a churro latte - what else can you say!? I'd be curious to try another drink but it was pretty sweet and the espresso was a good flavor combination. I can see why they are rated the way they are with the uniqueness of the location and the tastiness of the product.
