rev:text	I found this park this summer with my 14 lb terrier mix and I loved it. We could go there at night and hang out in the passive side, where a huge circus of little dogs would be running, lying around, wrestling, and having a good time. It was so nice not having to worry about my little dog, who is playful and loves to run with other dogs, but is too small for rough play with a big dog. I raved about the park to anyone who would listen. Lately, though, things have been different. Recently, they've switched the passive side back to the other side of the park, which is smaller, but that's not what's bothering me. Before, there were tons of little dogs interacting, running around, playing...now, there will be 4-5 large groups of dogs that stick very close together and don't interact with anyone else. Usually these groups include some small dogs and some big dogs and at least one dog who should NOT be in the Passive side of the park. I guess these people are friends and don't want to split up their dogs, but I'm tired of having my little dog, who plays nicely with everyone and loves to run, rammed into the ground by an aggressive herding dog or a biting, snarling member of one of these groups. I can't figure out what's happening. I wish someone would explain it to me. One night, there were several aggressive dogs who bit and attacked other dogs in the park until then 2-3 people left together, taking the aggressive dogs about about 12 other dogs with them! What is that about? I wish the old dynamic was still there. It was really magical. Last night, I listened to a woman complain to her daughter that their dog (not small) kept "taking down" the little dogs. I didn't pay much attention until the dog went after mine and I had to separate them. My dog has played with pit bulls and Great Danes and I've never had to intervene before. The woman just complained again to her daughter, "He keeps attacking the little ones!" Why would you keep a dog like that in the passive run full of small dogs? Has anyone else noticed this change? I'm really baffled/frustrated.
