Daith piercing for Migraines. To say I'm probably the biggest chicken shit in the world would be an understatement. 25 years ago I took my BFF for our first tattoo and almost 25 years to the day I drug her in with me for my piercing (she went first, now that's a friend). Nothing about this piercing screams fun or simple or not painful so of course I was a wreak. From the MOEment I called to inquire about the procedure I had nothing but the upmost respect given to me from Moe, the piercer. Moe explained the process to me and even shared a personal experience of his sister. So I decide to go for it! When we got there, again nothing but RESPECT AND PROFESSIONALISM FROM MOE. I'm a freaking hand full and he was so patient and kind to me. He walked me through every step and even encouraged me to go through with it with the kindest of words. I mean what's worse, migraines daily or being uncomfortable for a few minutes. I'm a chronic migraine sufferer and have been for almost 15 years. I had an 8 hour experimental surgery at the Cleveland Clinic 5 years ago that I had to pay $80,000 for, just to try to even get through a day without a headache.!!!Surgery didn't work.....thumbs down. All the nerves grow back eventually and your right back where you started. After a couple years of hearing about this piercing I finally got the nerve to do it. Suggestion: just go. Don't read the internet because there is always going to be negative bs on there. Once your there, don't hesitate....your done in two minutes. And honestly it's not that bad. Im 40+ and I promise Botox and Filler hurt worse. I'm home now on the couch watching tv and all is well. I will update on my progress later, but MOE you rock and your top shelf professionalism put me at ease the entire time. He could of totally been a dick because I was so nervous, nope....cool as a cucumber. Thank you. See you soon for the other side.
