  • We waited until the very last minute to get tickets to Absinthe and I'm glad we did. We caught the 10pm showing and bought tickets at the box office - which had no service charge. I'm really small so I hate not knowing if I can see over people while watching shows. that was actually one of the deciding factors of why we waited to purchase the tickets until we got there. I wanted someone opinion and I wanted to see the seating chart I person. We ended up sitting one section to the left of the piano (from the entrance you turn left, seats N30 and N29) area but against the wall so we were able to lean back comfortably. The chairs we sat on were made of wood but they were high bar stools with a back on it. It was the perfect straight forward view of the show and best part, it was $97 a ticket. The other chairs were a mishmash of metal, wood, small and smaller. The seats below us were smashed together. Arm to arm, butt cheek to butt cheek lol. When people say you have a great view from any seat I really don't believe that. The stage elevates for some acts, they have big props for the tight rope walkers and there's water stuff that goes on so people on the front row have to duck under these plastic tarp and they obviously have to crane their necks as these beautiful acts play out in front of you - which they kind of miss while hiding from getting wet. I know it's the experience your getting from sitting up front but I still would rather see it all. The show itself is amazing. I love all things acrobatics and I love love love watching people do death defying acts. My favorite act was the roller skating duo! They were so talented and strong! I thought the jokes were pretty funny for the most part but dick humor gets old fast. I'd rather see them make cracks at people all day than hear about sucking dick for like the 10th time. They do have drinks at the bar but I'm glad they let us bring drinks into the theater. Not sure how much more special it would have been to get the VIP tickets - besides the separate entrance, the baby glass of champagne and I guess a separate waiting area, there wasn't much more to do in there. This was a great show and I enjoyed it more than a cirque show - which is way too long and boring in my opinion!
