So...I regret purchasing a year membership. In late December they had staff turnover which resulted in almost 2 months of temporary fill-in staff. And if listening to the temporary staff gossip about the turnover and complain wasn't enough, they hired permanent staff who seem to only be there for the paycheck. Part of the appeal of 9Round is the staff interaction and motivation, and if your staff don't want to be there, why would I want to be there? I didn't pay to have a "certified 9Round trainer" look at their phone and tell me when 2.5 minutes are up.
I asked for alternative exercises at some stations, and the "trainers" couldn't give me feedback or modifications. Given the types of exercises done at each station, I think their lack of knowledge is a safety issue. Plus, it's not fun anymore. I can go to a regular gym and be ignored by staff, and it's a lot cheaper!
