| - When you think of Vegas, you think of BUFFET! Okay, gambling and hookers first but then, buffet! My tummy jiggles when it knows we're heading to a buffet in Vegas. I love my tummy and I take it to the best buffet in town. Here.
Wynn buffet is pricey and so pretentious, it's just called "The Buffet". That's okay because the food is phenomenal! There's usually a wait line out the door but I got lucky-ish the last time around and only waited 20mins. First time I went, it was over an hour wait! On Fridays and Saturdays, it's 37.95 for their special meats. Mmm... meats!
How to maximize your time and tummy here:
Step 1:
If you have been here before, you head straight to the Alaskan King Crab legs in the Seafood section on either left or right side. If it's your first time, head straight to the Alaskan King Crab legs! Seriously the best tasting leggy meat you'll ever have! Dunk it, dip it, hell just drown it in the butter sauce! If you're already here, healthy is the last thing on your mind. Just savor and enjoy decadence at its finest!
Step 2:
After that, try the other food too! Their Asian aka Sushi/Chinese food is actually good. Especially the Lotus Blossom leaf wrap. It's sticky rice mixed with other goodies steamed in a lotus blossom leaf. Very tasty!
Step 3:
Ignore the fruits. It's cheap and you can get the same stuff at home.
Step 4:
Ignore the bread. It's just filler.
Step 5:
Meats. Try everything! Prime Rib. Rack of Lamb. Turkey. Ham. Do it!
Step 6:
Indian/Middle Eastern section. Oh....almond pita with hummus! (Ignore previous bread statement) The lemon chicken, mmm... Excellent eats!
Step 7:
Any Pasta style you like bar! I had some pesto with pine nuts then marinara with sun-dried tomatoes. So good!
Step 8:
Soups & Salads! Good too but not necessary. You're here for quality foods not rabbit pellets!
Step 9:
Pizza! Mmm... cheesy warm goodness! gourmet toppings!
Step 10:
Dessert. OMG! They have house made ice cream and sorbets! My eyes rolled back inhaling the coconut, mango and strawberry ones! They have crepes! Mmm.. great with chocolate and strawberries! Lots of mini cakes like carrot cake, chocolate cake, tiramisu, cheese cake and other fancier name cakes. Cookies and muffins too! And flan, creme brulee, eclairs and tarts. Sweet Jesus!
At this point, your tummy has expanded to the size of Brazil. You should take a couple of deep breaths and push away from the table. Stand up slowly because food coma may have set in already and you could faint. Waddle with care!
