| - In response to Dr. Cohen - 6/23/2016 It is unfortunate your doctor was not working on the day you got out of the hospital. Given that, we were able to offer 1. An urgent appointment with another provider, 2. Medical advice for the emergency, 3. Call from the nurse team, 4. An appointment with Dr. Whitely a week later. We're glad you appreciated the care for years.
1. NOT true - Dr was working and had just returned to work from her own medical time off, confirmed by your staff.
2. Was not offered another provider, but knew I could schedule with PA or nurse if desired.
3. Medical advise given was to call my allergy dr, Dr Whitely would not be phoning me back or fitting me in.
4. Did receive a call from a nurse later in the day, not at all useful. Just generic answers I could find on the internet. She also could not fit me in with Dr. Whitely or get her to call me.
5. Was not offered an appt a week later. I had an appt already scheduled for 10 days later, which I cancelled because my medical care is no longer this place's concern.
Between 2 month waits for appts, no phone support and constantly having to see PAs or nurses that don't know me or my history. I'm done. While the 10 mins I got with Dr. Whitely every couple years was good, the rest was not.
