The first Lego store in Canada!!
As you can imagine the place is insanely busy with ankle biters running around everywhere. From the looks of the Lego website, this store is a little smaller than most but from my experience, you will most likely find what you're looking for.
The walls are lined with every Lego set you could imagine. In the middle of the floor they have various stations with activities for kids to play with the famous bricks. Also at one of the stations you can build your own mini figs (Lego men) priced at 3 for $12.99. You can choose from a large variety of heads, legs, bodies, hair/hats, and tools/accessories.
The Saturday that I was in I counted about 6-8 staff. They were all very friendly and helpful and had waaaaay more patience than I ever could being stuck in that maze of crazy.
The best part of the store is the wall of loose bricks at the back. We've all had that moment where we've searched and searched through the gigantic bucket of Lego for that one illusive piece. Well now if you truly can't find it, just hop over to the Lego store and buy it. The wall of bricks has different sized buckets that you can fill for a flat price.
Don't forget to become a Lego VIP member. It's free. For every dollar you spend you get one point. 100 points can be redeemed for $5 off your purchase. Currently they're running a promotion for the month of October for double the points, and also you get 25 bonus points when you register your membership online.
