  • As a new resident of Pittsburgh I was very excited to see a show at the Benedum. This place is stunning. It speaks to the money that used to exist in this city. Get there early so you can just soak in the beauty. I like that you can bring a drink into the theatre rather than rushing yourself to drink in the lobby. I also appreciate the addition of the newer bar and bathrooms on the second level. My only actual complaint was that I don't think the sound was spectacular. There were moments were it seemed certain mics weren't picked up and it made parts hard to hear. Not sure if that was due to the theatre's staff or Book of Mormon crew.
