  • Update: October 2012 Hi there, Just a quick update. Dr. Luckwaldt is now at Greenwood Park Animal Hospital (1041 Gerrard Street East - 416.778.6666). So you don't even need to leave downtown to find a great vet ;) _________ This Vet hospital is worth the trip from Toronto to Scarborough, it was worth even the $40 that I paid in cab fare to get there! The vet technicians are extremely helpful, the front desk personnel is nice and approachable, and Dr. Luckwaldt is the best vet that my bulldog ever had. I was referred to Dr. Luckwaldt by a friend who said that he is the type of professional who really cares about his clients' health and goes the extra mile to help both pets and oweners. I couldn't agree more. My English Bulldog joined his practice with a Masticular Muscle Myositis diagnosis and a very pessimistic prognosis. She was relapsing even in the highest dose of prednisone and we were thinking that time would come that we would need to consider putting her down. However, Dr. Luckwaldt always encouraged us to keep trying and reporting all symptoms, even the ones that seemed unrelated to her condition. It has been four months since we met Dr. Luckwaldt and our dog's health has improved drastically. We discovered that she had an abscessed tooth and her thyroid levels were off. She is going back to being the healthy and happy dog that she has always been thanks to Dr. Luckwaldt! Before committing your resources to a downtown practice, consider this hospital. It's more affordable than other GTA animal hospitals and the staff really treats your pet as a member of the family, not a money maker!
