| - I stayed here for 3 nights during a training seminar that my company sent me to. Let me first say that some of the staff that I did have interactions with were very polite. Some were not, oh well. The unresolved issue came on the last day. At the seminar, around 9:45 am we were given about 15 minutes to go back up to our rooms to get anything else and to checkout (checkout time is 12:00 Noon, important information for the story). As we all went up to the rooms one of my friends asked if I wanted to take the beer that was left over. She said that it was in her refrigerator. I asked what was left and she said 2 full 6-packs. I told her that I would put it in my cooler. I went back to my room, gathered my things and walked out. As she came out of her room she said that the beer was gone. Housekeeping had already been there and the beer was gone. We went to the desk and was told that the manager of housekeeping would be contacted. After our training was over, 2:30 pm, we went back to the desk and the lady behind the counter told us that when housekeeping went in the room there were no clothes or suitcases and it is their practice to, at that time, throw anything left behind out. We asked what check out time they had on record. She told us 7:00 am. We asked how that could be possible when both occupants still had their room keys and access to the room. Now earlier that morning my friends bunky had inquired about being charged for a bottle of water that was not in the room. Apparently they had also checked her out when she didn't ask to be checked out at that time and there was also still another person in that room that had not checked out. I asked why they were cleaning the room before the checkout time of noon when not all the occupants had checked out. All she said was that there was nothing she could do. It's not so much the loss of $15 in beer, but the fact that they screwed up and would not own up to it.
Issue 2:
Do not be charmed by the fact that they have an open bar from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The bar tenders are rude, the alcohol is all bottom shelf and the beer is barely above room temp. The last night here we went down to the bar to grab a drink before our formal dinner. Upon tasting the Bud Light, it had a strong vinegar flavor, very distinctive and very strong. We asked around and several people said the same thing. When we brought it to the bar tenders attention, she acted as if she didn't care. I know that I am complaining about something that was free, but if you are going to give something away for free, it should be held to the same standards as what they were charging for in the other bar.
I am extremely disappointed in this place and will not go back.
On a good note, the breakfast bar was good.
