The music is good, the atmosphere is fun and the new barbecue menu has some tasty options on it.
But this place used to do a good brunch business every weekend for years. I went in the other weekend expecting a breakfast menu and was handed a menu of heavy, Memphis-inspired bar food.
The place was empty, presumably because not that many people want a po' boy and a platter of French fries or a rack of ribs for brekkiez. It still does offer a traditional eggs, bacon, toast and homefries breakfast, which I opted for (and it was cooked to my liking) but I would have preferred the options that used to be on the brunch menu.
