My significant other and I went there about a week and half ago. We're moving to Las Vegas on February 1, and we've been checking out all the comic stores. This one we won't be returning to.
So when we get there, it smells nice. The layout is a little confusing. I'm looking for a Hellblazer graphic novel, which I'd purchased Vol. 1 from a different comic book store. Can't find vertigo comics anywhere. Ask the lady behind the counter and she tells me that since vertigo hasn't done anything good in a long time there isn't much. I'm instantly put off by this comment, but I didn't say anything. Haha she directs me to this one single shelf in the entire store, and they didn't have anything close to what I was searching for. So I move on.
Next, my significant other is looking for Green Lantern Brightest Day, I think. He can't find it. He asks the same woman if they have it. She tells him it's not good at all and it's not worth buying. "Speaking as someone who paid money for it and read it", she said And he's just politely saying "ohhhh, okay".
So the verdict is:
They didn't have anything we were looking for, and it was pretty popular stuff. And they didn't want to sell us a comic book because the sales lady didn't like it hahahaha. We aren't going back.
