  • I'm from Phoenix and totally understand the sadness people feel about losing the old Camelview. I saw tons of movies there, and it was also one of the first dates I ever went on with my now fiancĂ© so it holds an extra special spot in my heart. With that said, I think this is the best theater they could have replaced it with. The entire movie-going experience just feels amazing. Sure, we've all been to the theaters where servers bring you "gourmet" food and drinks to your seat during the movie, but am I the only person who finds that completely disruptive and annoying? I'm trying to watch a movie, stop shining your flashlight in my face and asking me questions about my bill! I'd much rather come here where the seats are just as comfy (fully reclining with reserved seating in every theater) and I can get my own booze and food before the movie starts without having anyone bother me! Plus, prices here are 1/3 less of the price at those places ($14 per ticket vs $21 at ipic). I love that they've kept the integrity of the old Camelview alive by continuing to show independent films, while also showing all the new Big Hollywood stuff. It's hands down my favorite place to see movies. Are you a fan of cinema?
