I have recently been looking for a new supermarket. I love the fact that a lot of places have stepped up their game in terms of cleanliness. Customer service however still tends to be poor. I'm thinking of places like the big chances. Lovely atmosphere but I'd rather not deal with the crabby workers.
I've been going to Highland Farms on Matheson for about 2 months and I have not had any problems. The place is huge and well-organized. They have all sorts of additional offerings as well like a full bakery with cakes (I don't eat cake but it's a good thing).
Produce has always been of a high quality and, most importantly to me, the staff has been friendly and helpful.
Customer service is a lost art. I'm willing to applaud good service when I encounter it.
