Construction, never-ending - moving at a snails' pace.
You can only enter (from the St. Clair Centre) if you have one of those Presto card things (that don't work everywhere) ...
You have to go to street level to actually enter the (dilapidated looking) station to take the subway - if you are paying cash or with a token.
After enjoying quality transit systems in Hong Kong, China, Korea and Taiwan, the TTC is like something out of .. well, given the weather ... the Ice Age. A good transit system is good for everyone - for business, for commerce. The TTC makes you NOT want to board a train, streetcar or bus. Same for St. Clair West Station, Yonge and Eglinton, to name a few. If you have mobility issues, its another challenge. Elevators are not everywhere, escalators seem to be under "routine maintenance" very frequently. And forget about washrooms at every station - that would be asking way too much ...
