| - I have never written a review before but in this case, I feel I must. This Ulta has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced, on several occasions I have walked into the store and seen a group of employees gathered around the counter talking and not one person says "Hello" or asks if I need any assistance, I am completely ignored.
I was in the store recently and had my arms full of various products and I needed a basket. Two different employees walked past me, looked down at my full arms and then just kept walking without a word.
Then when I went to check out, there were three girls behind the counter and only one was checking out another customer. The other two were talking and completely ignored my existence. I was standing in the queue area waiting to be called forward and they just continued talking so I finally walked up to the register and asked if she was open and instead of apologizing or even smiling, I just received a dirty look and she didn't say one word to me the whole time I was checking out, just silence and then not even a "have a good day" when she handed me my receipt.
Not only is the customer service terrible, I receive the worst haircut of my life. I realize that an Ulta salon isn't going to be the fanciest place in the world but I only needed a trim to get rid of some dead ends which I figured would be easy enough. The girl that cut my hair made it seem like it was her first time ever picking up a pair of scissors, her name was Krista or Kristie, something along those lines. After she washed my hair, I told her that I just needed a quick trim and I wanted the overall shape to remain intact. I generally don't monitor haircuts so I didn't pay too much attention to what she was doing but I was embarrassed to walk out of this appointment. She had cut my hair straight across like she had made one cut. In addition to this, I told her that my bangs were a little long for my taste and I asked if she would trim them, she looked terrified when I asked her to do this and she took my side bang in her hand and made one chop straight across that looked ridiculous, and started to say that we were all done. I insisted that she correct the straight across cut she had made to my side bang and she just completed ruined them. I had to wear my hair pulled up into a bun until I was able to go to a different salon to correct what she had done. This was especially upsetting because I had this awful haircut only hours before I left on vacation to celebrate my one year anniversary.
I'm extremely disappointed with this location. Even though it's so close to my house, I will never be returning.
