  • This is a hidden gem for brunch. I stayed at the Palazzo and was searching for a brunch on the lighter side compared to the heavy offerings in and on the strip. An easy-going French option seemed appropriate for my craving. The entrance is to the restaurant is a little tricky to find (located off to the side of the front desk of Venetian) but it is worth it once revealed. The decor going to the restaurant follows suit to the wow factor of the main lobby of the Venetian. The restaurant itself has features that look like a european cafe but on a larger scale. I opted to sit outside on their patio and it was perfect. It is nestled in a courtyard with a pool with good shade from the building. I ordered the deconstructed lox and cream cheese sandwich and shared a pot of steamed mussels. The mussels were the best I've had. Plump and soft, not tough and chewy, in a very tasty wine broth. The server mentioned their chicken and waffles dish was their signature dish but nobody in our party opted for it this time. I'm definitely going back as my go-to spot for a classy brunch on the strip with a very relaxing atmosphere. Great prep for any daytime pool action. Otherwise, you'll be limited to heavy, greasy selections of gigantic proportions which includes battling a crowd.
