| - I have a great employee who is applying to rent an apartment here. Yesterday the leasing agent, Jesel, faxed over an employment verification form. Our office manager filled it out and sent it in. Today, she called over and over again, each time saying sorry, I just have one more question. Sabina does a lot of work around here and her time is very valuable to our company, so you can imagine my concern when they keep calling back.
This afternoon I received a call from my employee saying that she is in the office of the apartment complex and they still need us to verify, here it comes, just one more thing! I told her Sabina is in a meeting but please have the apartment complex send her an email and she will respond right away. Guess what? No email.
One hour later someone else from this complex calls asking for Sabina. Her name is Evelyn. I explained to her that we are very busy and that Jesel kept calling over and over again to ask, "just one more question." I asked her to email Sabina as she is in a meeting. Evelyn told me she needs to speak with Sabina to hear the answer, having it in writing will not do. She then went on to tell me that if she does not hear from Sabina she is going to send the applicant, my employee, away. Send her where? Out onto the streets? Back into an abusive relationship?
We look after our employees, so I interrupted a meeting and had Sabina call her back. Since now she (Evelyn) is threatening one of my employees. Sabina called her back and answered her question. Evelyn was rude and did not like the answer.
This place is a joke. Unprofessional, tried to be a bully because she is not training her staff appropriately. I would not trust this Evelyn person, and according to her, Jesel is new and doesn't know anything so don't trust her either.
If you are considering renting here, wait until you see a big banner outside that reads, "Under New Management."
