Okay so I want to make it clear that I have not gotten tattooed here yet but I will be updating my review as soon as I get my tattoo; but these guys were so nice and cool I had to write a review on the shop itself. Okay so I'm a huge stickler when it comes to sanitation and being safe in fact one of my biggest fears of all time is getting a really cool tattoo and then finding out 10 years down the road I have AIDS or HIV because the ink or something was contaminated. Well I went down to the shop (which is a bit hard to find but it's right next to "O Face Donuts" right in the middle of Downtown). and the shop was beautiful and clean exactly what I wanted. I ended up talking to Chris and he was extremely nice and I could tell he was really listening to me and what I wanted. He told me he could take me in right then and there and even quoted me a good price but since this is a 21st b-day gift to myself I said I'd wait. I have been doing research for months on shops but I always come back to Black Spade. I even emailed them asking about sanitation and if the needles were brand new and single use and Jen emailed me back within a day. She was so patient (I can be really annoying when my fear acts up) and told me that all needles are single use and brand new and ink is never reused. I said I'd wait to write a review but these guys are just so cool ad patient and nice that I had to write on this. I will be updating the review or even rewriting it when I do get my tattoo!!!
