  • As a first-time puppy parent to my sensitive little fella Pocketwolf, (who follows me everywhere like a shadow... trust me, I fretted feverishly about our separation for the first few times!) I never imagined that this sweet ball of fluff could be so delighted to see somebody as he is with me... until I discovered Dog Days. As we pull up to the front, his tail is already wagging like a maniac and he actually LAUNCHES himself into the arms of the staff, who delightedly giggle at his puppy kisses all over their faces. I had to try not to get jealous of all the love! Seeing the level of care and interest each and every staff member has shown in my pup has put my mind completely at ease- so much so, that for the last couple of months I have been letting Pocketwolf go in all day while I'm at work, to play with his other mini friends. And when I say play, I mean play! I check in on the live webcams from work when I'm missing him, and each time I've been so pleased to see him playing fetch with the carer in the yard, getting tummy tickles, playing tug-of-war with other pooches, and generally running around with a big stupid puppy grin on his face and his tongue lolling out the side! Each evening when I pick him up around 6.30pm, he is so happy and wiped out. My hubby is happy because no longer does he get a 2am wake-up call by our loony pup galloping around with a burst of energy, and my socks and underwear are safe at last without my restless fella getting destructive and stealing them as we sleep! We have a perfectly chill snuggle bug to to cuddle up to at night now, which is nice because the guilt trips he gave us for not having the energy after work for walkies used to be brutal- Those sad puppy eyes nearly broke me! Pocketwolf even leaps into the arms of the talented groomers onsite and comes back plush, with perfectly ground down nails- never cut too short and quicked- and smelling like a strawberry!
