| - I'm updating this review to include my recent experience in service. Sales were great, and only buy a car here if it is in perfect condition and with few miles.
Anyways, I purchased my car on January 8th, after a long process with another dealership. The car I purchased was a 2013 Mazda CX-5, and it had almost everything I needed/wanted. We were in such a hurry to take the car home, as I needed a car that we didn't do a great inspection (our fault). However, when we got it home we noticed a ton of paint damage that was absolutely unacceptable for purchasing a car. Due to the fact that it was not noticed before we signed our papers, they refused to do anything about it and it has taken four months (they took my car in yesterday) to fix the notated paint damage and seat issues. FOUR MONTHS!! That is completely unheard of in my experience. Every dealership I have purchased my cars from has fixed any and all paint damage within a week of purchase regardless of whether or not it was notated. I told Val in service that out of principle they would need to fix all the paint damage on the car, because it has taken four months. She said she would talk to her service manager (no idea if she did), but when I gave them my car yesterday she said they could only take care of what was on the front of the car.
Additionally, I required a loaner car in order to complete this repair as it was going to take at least two days and THEY NEVER HAD A LOANER. They REFUSED to pay for a rental despite the fact that it was taking so long. We also purchased a service plan which is basically useless because THEY NEVER HAVE LOANERS. I did accept a loaner with a check engine light in order to just get this over with; however, checking a code is fairly simple in order to figure out what's wrong. The "we don't know what's wrong" excuse doesn't work with that. You're a luxury car dealership, so you should be keeping up maintenance on your cars.
I'm really bitter over this whole deal and feel like they were deliberately being difficult because I called them so frequently and threatened them with lawyers. I even told Val when I dropped my car off that in the future they need to do a better job turning cars when checking for damage, and she was SURPRISED by all the paint damage to my car. What the heck CBB!? Were you lazy because it wasn't a "luxury" car?
Overall, DO NOT PURCHASE SERVICE PLANS OR GET A LESS THAN PERFECT CAR FROM HERE. They're horrible, absolutely horrible.
Remember that this applies to service and not sales. Sales was great
I came here after a horrible experience at a local Ford dealership in Scottsdale. Being in need of a car, I wanted something that I would love. I came in with a specific car in mind and after being greeted by Ty, he immediately got the car and showed it to us. We couldn't test drive it (minor issue), but after finding out why it wasn't an issue because I've driven a similar car before. Once we finished looking over the car, we started talking numbers and Travis went over my previous "contract" from the Ford dealership and explained that it was basically worthless and helped me come up with a plan to go back to the dealership. Thanks to Dustin we were able to set the wheels in motion on this deal and move forward in getting an awesome new car.
THANKS!!!
