Mark is honest, reliable, accommodating and dedicated!
We brought our PC to him August 18th after we had been cheated by another IT company. We had been told (and charged $$) that we had downloaded a virus (no name or virus/malware list provided) that corrupted our hardware. Anyway wasn't true.
Friday August 18th (at 5:00 pm) Mark spent 2 hours (with me) trying to figure out what the problem was: when you turned off the PC it wouldn't start up again. Would go to the Logo screen and basically stop. At first he thought it might be the driver, but after several times of turning it off and on it would do the same. He was able to determine it was the motherboard and said "leave it with me I want to try something if it works pay me if not no charge". He went so far as to show me exactly what he was going to do. He was honest and said the board isn't going to last but this might give you some time to figure out what to do when it goes.
On Saturday (Aug. 19th) he called to say it worked and we could come pick up the PC. I said we couldn't that day and we were leaving Monday for holiday so maybe when we returned. He said we could come Sunday...yes Sunday! And spent another 2 hours this time me and my husband.
I wanted Mark to show my husband what the other IT company actually didn't do. He is not computer savvy and he wanted to listen and learn from Mark. So Mark went step by step thru the PC app's system properties and history and proved that the other IT company did nothing. They had gone so far as to claim, in writing to have installed a virus protection but the app clearly proved it had been on our system at manufacturing! Mark then showed my husband exactly what he did: a reflow of the motherboard. And he didn't charge us!!! Yes...Free, Gratis, Gratuit, Frei!! (4 languages is all I know to say free in)
Mark worked that week right thru to Sunday...that is dedication. Another positive is his great attitude and personality. He was kind and non judgmental and didn't say a bad thing about the IT company who scammed us. He also provided us with a full page detailed description of the problem and issues of the PC that we needed (again...free!). Oh, and we had forgotten something at his office and he dropped it off at our home Sunday night!!
Thank you Mark for fixing our PC! And when the motherboard does go....we will be calling you.
