| - I stopped by Atlas with my roommate to catch a show downstairs in the bar. While the space is a little small with a band playing, it's a place I would go again if there wasn't live music. Obviously the beer selection is amazing, you can pick anything off the walls and they can chill it for you right away or you can choose from a limited selection of taps that changes.
I was most impressed with how knowledgable the staff was, not only about the selection they currently have, but about beer in general. Last winter Duck Rabbit released an oyster stout that was my favorite beer ever, and I was looking forward to them releasing it again this year, only to find out that it was a one-time release for them. I was looking through the selection Atlas had, when my roommate asked one of the employees about oyster stout, he came out and showed me exactly where it was on their shelves. While it wasn't the Duck Rabbit version I had been looking for, 21st Amendment does a great job as well, and I really appreciated the recommendation.
If beer isn't your thing, Atlas also carries craft sodas and mixers downstairs, if you're looking to up your cocktail game or have a non-alcoholic beverage.
