Don't bother unless you are looking for a moderately priced hotel that is, clean, but not much else. You'll still be paying a resort fee and with the marginal amenities and lackluster pool area, you're paying for zilch in that department. Seems much more upscale and professional than it is when you arrive. Every single staff person seemed and acted unhappy (not to mention the big burly valet dude who could not have been any more rude had he worked in a prison. Perhaps he moonlights?). Might as well pass by the cool looking Monkey Bar across from the front desk area. Yes, it's interesting looking and unassuming of a bar, but the bartenders will quickly engage with each other about how they dont like working at this hotel and ignore all the patrons. Keep my tab open? Why? Shouldn't have even ordered a drink here.
Restaurants are nice and there's a good mix of them. However, I'd much rather come to SLS hotel to eat and then get the heck out of here. The best part is that it's connected to the W hotel where those staff at least greeted us and acted like they cared whether we were customers or not. The other great thing is that the SLS is connected slightly to the monorail. This makes the ease of getting away from the "resort" quite easy to do!
Rooms are clean. So there's that.
