| - This may be the most unethical company I have ever dealt with. Filed a claim through Home Warranty and they sent out AM PM Plumbing. It was clear the company only wanted to collect the high service fee and not entirely inform the Home Warranty company of the situation.
The sump pump broke off and although the motor worked, the actual unit did not work. I had previous plumber come out before hand and diagnosed the problem. The only issue was he does not work with Home Warranty.
The unit had broken off and was simply placed in the area. The tech from AM PM plugged the unit in and the motor worked, but didn't know what the problem was. I conferences in the other plumber who walked the tech through the issue. After we got off the phone, I asked the tech if he understood the problem now. His comment back was "Yes, I'm just trying to cover my own ass because I missed it. It's clear to me that is is broken".
The tech refused to call in to the Home Warranty to submit the claim with me there. He wrote up on the paper work where it clearly indicates the sump pump is broken. His message to Home Warranty was different indicating the sump pump was not connected (obviously as it had broken offer) and when he plugged it in, the unit work.
As you can see he showed proof the unit did not work, but told the Home Warranty that it did so he could collect the high service fee and then try to force me to use him directly to fix the problem. On top of that, he took the entire unit a part and left it there.
Now my question is, how ethical is this company and that individual? Lastly, I have tried to call the company no less than 5 times and they will not call me back.
If you ever get referred to think about calling this company, STOP, and look the other direction and run as fast as you can. I run my own business based upon ethics, morals, and principles. I'm not sure AM PM does the same or at least through this tech. I will be filing an official complaint with the BBB and State Attorney Generals Office.
