  • So typically I take Southwest Airlines in and out of Vegas from Fort Lauderdale. The flights are usually reasonable and fall within my schedule departure and arrival time. I've been fortunate to not have many extreme circumstances while waiting for my flight home to Florida, but as always, there are some bumps in the road when you're traveling. The worst portion of the airline is the terminal. It's just bland and unwelcoming, but I could probably say that about the airport in general. Other than the flashing lights and the sounds of the slot machines enticing you, there really is no appeal to the terminal. A few crappy food options, oh, a Pei Wei... The gate staff is typically pretty friendly. Typically. My flight is sometimes on time, but when it's late, it's usually under an hour which I can deal with. My last flight was delayed 30 minutes and I noticed how dirty the flight still was when I entered. Empty wrappers under the seat. I know planes really aren't "clean", but c'mon now. Still will be my go-to when it comes to Vegas, but it's just alright for me. Definitely can improve and I hope they do.
