"What's the difference between ignorance and ambivalence?" asked the owner of The Green Iguana, after he showed me around.
I shrugged.
"I don't know and I don't care," he said.
This joke fully encompasses the sort of jaded, nerdy whimsy that is The Green Iguana.
The store sells beautiful glass works, including imported marbles, but most prominent of all are the hundreds of framed pictures ALL OVER the entire two story shop. Every photo is framed in the same style, a cool industrial wrought iron double hook at the top, and almost all the prints are taken from old books-- vintage zoology textbooks, old art books-- and framed and placed somewhere on the wall.
Super cool....but NERDY cool.
But, my favourite thing about this place are its framed vintage postage stamps (see my photos).
