While some rave about this place being the best tea store, there was something about my experience today that makes me think otherwise.
I came to this store in hopes to find a tea or two that will help me break my soda addiction. Right when we walked through the front, a nice lady offered me and my friend a taste of their sample teas outside. One was the wild berry flavor, which I was immediately crazy about (better if it was cold) and another flavor which I didn't really care for (which is why I don't remember what it was even called). When we walked in to the actual store itself, the place was overly crowded with people and it became very noticeable to me how small the place was. It felt to me like I couldn't even walk in there without knocking something over. TIP: Their shelves rock when you pick something off of it to check an item out which is scary since it holds breakable items. BE CAREFUL!
If you're an avid tea drinker and don't mind paying about ($25+) for a good blend of tea, this place is for you. If you're someone like me who just wants to try a small batch before you commit to a bigger amount, this place may be a little pricey. Make sure you ask CONSTANTLY how much you're at. I've heard stories where people have gotten up to $120+ worth and didn't even know it. Once they blend the teas for you, you have to pay for it!
As for my experience with the workers, some of them are very perky and offer help and some just stand around touching stuff, pretending to be doing something. There's always a mixture at every place, it was just obvious who was who at this place since the space was really small.
Not sure yet if I'll be back.
