What an enjoyable way to spend a pleasant afternoon in November!
I reserved the Coyote Canyon Ride on their website. We got there at 11.30am today and signed a release form. They had an option you don't need to wear a helmet which is hard to find. Then we got a complete safety briefing. Soon after we got matched up with the horses. There were probably 15 people.
I had Dusty, a mule and he is very gentle and tame. My bf took King, a beautiful big Clydesdale mix. There was a photo stop 10 mins into the ride. The scenery is magnificent and we saw chipmunks and rabbits. You can take pictures while on the horse.
I like the fact that there are 52 horses/mules that take turns and are not so overly worked. They do look they are well fed and taken care of.
The ride on the horse took an hour and thirty mins, which was perfect.
All of the staff members are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
Highly recommend!
