  • This is a morning after review, I've definitely had some time to think about this. I've never had any waxing done before, but decided to get a Brazilian for an event this weekend. I found these guys for a great price on groupon! I went in, I was put in a room that was open to the entire salon at the top. How terrifying to know all other customers will hear all the details of however this turns out. The woman who waxed me took no time to inform me as to after care, pain level, or what the process for waxing was. She only informed me of their package deal. Then went to work. I was clear with her I had never done it before. The pain was agonizing; which is just the way it is. I respect that. However in the middle as I writhed and almost cried, I begged to take a break, she ignored my request, and instead told me again of their package deal on waxing. I returned home bleeding and I'm horrific pain with no idea how to treat what felt like the removal of a layer of skin. What's even better, I still had wax EVERYWHERE. The only thought keeping me going was how smooth and wonderful it would look when the swelling went down. Imagine my horror waking up to a still irritated, stubbly whack job. My bikini line was not even done. After recovering from the trauma, in hindsight I would not have tipped as well as I did, and I will never opt for a cheaper wax job like this.
