| - Five stars for vision, but currently, I'd say moreso around three for execution. I had the mid-level fixed price menu, which came with an appetizer (bruschetta), pasta (salmon), and drink (iced oolong tea). The drink was a soft drink, while I am used to fresh tea so I didn't enjoy it as much. The bruschetta was good, not quite great but good, with three different kinds of toppings on bread. The salmon entree was solid, but I'd say unspectacular--the flavor wasn't quite as pronounced or sophisticated as I would've liked. The pasts was more toward al dente, though this is more a preference than a critique--I am not a fan of al dente. The dessert, a tiramisu, was solid, not the most memorable but definitely solid. The service was professional but not quite as observant as I would've preferred.
It's three stars but if I am dichotomizing it, it'd be a recommendation because the vision is clear and distinct.
