  • Toyama is hidden in the Safeway shopping center. It's small place that has very loyal Japanese customers. We placed a Togo order as we were in the mood to staying in. We ordered tonkatsu which came with a bowl of rice and side salad. The pork was a thick cut and crispy bread crumbs made this dish very tasty. The Chirashi Togo had nice chunks of real crab meat which I thought was very nice and large Ikura fish eggs added nice saltiness to the dish. I really enjoyed this dish as they give you variety of fish slices (not overload on tuna like many other places do). The poke special was amazing. I think it was my favorite out of everything we ordered. It was flavorful and had just right amount of seasoning. I ate it with white rice and it was yummy! I would like to order 3 (maybe 4) of these and make it a meal. The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the serving size. I wish everything was slightly bigger even if they had to charge more.
