...The more I thought about my mail miss-delivery, the angrier I got.
I wanted to wait outside and express my frustration and anger to that mailperson. I guess that fighting spirit is that Scarborough side of me.
...I ended up calling the Canada Post customer service line (complaint number)... which was way less effort than writing an angry letter (that would be the Torontonian side of me).
The person I spoke to was very sympathetic. I was very polite and explained how screwed I would have been if that lady didn't phone with my passport. She told me that they would take measures to fix this and that if my mail was still missing to complain again.
"Un hunh".
Surprisingly, today I got a phone call from Canada Post.
They looked into how the mail was sorted and spoke directly to the mail delivery person. The person said that they would pay special attention and actually went back to the local post office to confirm my details so she could look out for my mail.
I'm still unhappy with the mix up, but I have to give them an extra star for effort. They were very courteous and seemed to be trying.
Perhaps, they are neutral star worthy... I'll decide that after I receive the letters I am still missing.
