Easy five stars. The owner talked with me about the uniqueness of each roast, narrowed down my preferences of a cup given my brew style and I am happily walking away with a pound of Kenya (caffeine of a light roast with bold flavors) and a pound of Burundi (great for ice coffee- summer is coming ;))
The owner, Joseph, stated that they were first coffee roasters and they just so happen to serve coffee. I loved his demeanor and willingness to help me. I've longed for coffee guidance and appreciated his interest to enlighten me.
I asked for a recommendation. He suggested the Walter White- 2 shots of espresso and half&half with a wee bit of chocolate and caramel. The flavor redirected my coffee goals. amazing. Not sweet. Not bitter. Perfect.
He also requested they make it in a glass so I could see the layering (I had time to hang for a bit). They still recommend mixing the drink but I liked that he thought i'd enjoy that (I did ).
I wanted my drink iced and really liked the ice cubes. It's the small things in life .
There are 3 two-tops and a 4-6top table. The place was full when I got here. Service was prompted and helpful. The music was chill and at a good level, I could still hear the scooping of the coffee beans in the back
I left very pleased.
