| - As with the other review I too had my policy moved without warning to this agent. I have multiple policies (home, Auto, Motorcycle, Off-Road Vehicle, Camper, Umbrella etc.). Ever since moving to this agent I have had nothing but issues with billing and my policies in general. For the past 3 months I am constantly getting new policy documents and bills because "something has changed". That's ok, I get it, sometimes this happens but what really gets me is the constant miscommunication. What I mean is that one day I will call to get my bill straightened out (keeping in mind that most of my policies are paid in full however things keep changing and I need to make new payments). I will ask the agent if I am all caught up and he says "Yes, I just looked at your policies and you are fine, you owe nothing and shouldn't for a while". I say great, talk to you later. Wouldn't you know it no more than 2 days go by and I get an email that I am past due on a bill that I supposedly had auto pay set up on. I call the agent back and ask what's going on. He says "oh yeah, it looks like we didn't put in your auto pay information, you will need to make last months and this months payment manually and then we can add the info". I told him I just talked to him 2 days ago and asked if I owed anything at all and he said i didn't. He had no comment on why he missed it and just asked me how I wanted to pay. That scenario has happened twice now.
For some reason I constantly have to stay on top of this agent (i am on the phone with them every other week at least). I never had these issues with my previous agent. What is happening to customer service these days? All I want is to have an agent that can give me factual information about my policies when I call and tell me if I need to make a payment or not. These constant past due notices and policy changes are getting ridiculous. I think it's time to start shopping around for a new agent/insurance company.
