rev:text	I'm a little hesitant writing this review because of I've been 100% successful in recommending Pascals to friends. The last thing I want is half the city bombarding these poor folks and next thing I know, I'm all out of the best French pastries in the city. Pascal's is a take and bake shop located in the industrial pockets of Calgary. You could almost miss them and if you do, you can always visit places like old school Emporium to buy their wares. But honestly, it's best to visit their store and meet them in person. In fact, plan your time for half an hour at least when you visit Pascal's because you're in for a long conversation, like us, Pascal and Lison love geeking over food and one could spend hours swapping stories with them. I first met Lison at a yelp event when I was shamelessly snacking away on a basket of pastries she left out. Their Croissants and cinnamon buns were beyond tasty. The crust was crispy but the inside was light and buttery. The cinnamon bun alone was addicting with its playful levels of sweetness. This is stuff made to torture anyone on a low carb diet. Anyways when I was caught red handed I was met with Lison's enthusiastic dance as she described Pascal's pastry as having a certain "JE NAIS SE QUAS" . Intrigued I bought some frozen packs to go. I also told a coworker about them who went and tried their place. Surprisingly she confessed that she was skeptical because of the price she paid and that she had to bake the pastries herself. But the next morning the smell of her home made her an instant fan. I can't wait to break into my frozen packages of pastry dough, I'm going to follow the directions laid out and hope to impress my host family with AMAZING Viennoiserie style pastry.
