| - If you have never tried community acupuncture before, I highly recommend it. Treating multiple patients at the same time, in the same room, allows for drastically reduced prices. Each patient has their own recliner, and there is music and white noise machines, so you will hardly notice that anyone else is there...unless they are snoring.
This is the 2nd POCA (People's Organization of Community Acupuncture) clinic I have been to. POCA is a great organization that allows people to receive acupuncture at affordable prices ($15-$35, no income verification-just pay what works for you).
I am so happy Saja has opened a clinic in the north valley, because as much as I love the other clinic, I was having to drive pretty far, and usually in rush hour one or both directions. The stress of the drive outweighed the relaxation of my treatments. The neighborhood Rooted is in is older and run down, but it's what is inside that counts! You will receive a customized treatment and individualized attention, just like you would anywhere else.
Do yourself a favor and go get poked. Acupuncture can help with all kinds of issues, including digestive problems, chronic fatigue, all kinds of pain, allergies, anxiety, depression, fertility, and anything else you can think of. Going 2-3 times a week keeps me sane and feeling the best I have in a long time. Even kids can receive acupuncture if they can hold still for a little while. Happy acunapping!
