| - I would give this office a 0 star if i could. I was a patient for many years until last month. They have lost my urine specimen. They didnt order a pregnancy test before having a Ct scan, insisted that the radiology place would do one. No i dont think so. They do not have a registered nurse on site or Nurse practioner. He is in and out. Doesnt take time . I usually would see dr casas every year for my annual well women exam until this year i had to see him more often for gyn problems. Expect a long wait up to 45 to 50 min in the waiting area after signing in every time. The waiting room is always full. The front office never smiles and never sounds friendly. They all seem stressed. I needed to have a surgery done and tried to reach his medical assistant jonnie leaving her several messages on her voicemail which i never received a return call for two days. I needed to talk to dr casas with lots of questions and concerns regarding my surgery and health issues but was never able to speak with him. At that point i decided to cancel the surgery since i didnt get a call back from his assistant jonnie and had many question and concerns about my health and the whole surgery process, turns out that she also works at another office too on certain days and doesnt return calls when shes at another site. You would think she would check her voicemail at the henderson office. Well the front office told me i couldnt cancel because i would be charged a huge cancelation fee. I change my appointment to a consultation hoping to have my questions answered. I also left a message with the office administrator melda to address my concerns about the messages i left for jonnie, the huge cacelation fee, and my surgery questions. I also didnt get a return call from the office administrator. Turns out the office administrator is his wife with no customer service skills. I arrived at my appointment early and still waited 40 min. I let the receptionist know i had been waiting when i get called in from jonnie who gave me an argumentive abrupt rude un appologitic attitude and tried to justify to me as to why she didnt call me back. Stating she had 16 years experience as if she could not possibly be wrong or make a mistake. I asked her if my authorization was approved, which was one of the questions i left her on her voicemail. I asked for a printed copy she tried to make an excuse as to why she couldnt print it. Turns out my authorization was still pending and not approved yet and it was a few days before my surgery. Her 16 years didnt show her how to get authorizations on a timely manner and she requested for me to have part of a surgery done that i didnt want done. I requested to speak with the office administrator and was told she wasnt availble . After saying i would waite for her she called me in and even got my name wrong. The office adm. Melda has no empathy, professionalism, or customer service skills as she keep implying that it seems that im not happy with them. Really! Instead of helping make things right and rectifying the problem she said to me. "Why do i need to know what to do to get ready for surgery. We are a very busy office to return all calls. We are in other office, you need to ask at the pre op appoinment, dont you still work at....cant you ask the doctors at your work". VERY UNPROFFESSIONAL, thats why i chose dr. Casas to be my gyn.. . I was then told that the doctor agreed to cancel my surgery and that he had to go deliver a baby and couldnt see me all day. I was not rescheduled by the office or fitted in the next week to come and talk with them. At this point i will never go back after all the chances i gave this office and doctor. I dont recommend trusting the medical assistants at this office. I have even seen the lab technician who draws blood talk on the phone on a personal call when i was sitting in front of her. They do not update there registration papers annually, they had old information.
