In their defense the store was crowded with Halloween shoppers. It was 4 days before Halloween. Every employee we encountered was sub-par. We asked for assistance from an associate who was straightening an aisle. She seemed almost annoyed to show us where the wigs were located. She had the same attitude when I witnessed another customer asking her for the location of another item. I would like to add that I found the perfect red wig located in another section than she showed us. There was a very long line at check out. We ask a man who appeared to be a supervisor on the proper procedure to get a balloon. After standing in the long line and getting to the register we were told he had given us the wrong instructions. Actually, we were told we must have misunderstood. After searching through all the balloons we were unable to locate the balloon we had asked about in the very beginning to the male supervisor. He told us they did have it. We left with just the wig and plan to purchase the balloon at Harris Teeter. Customer service is key in retail. They need to improve!
