  • This gym is what it is, it's a budget and location necessity. If you're looking for something nicer, go for Mountainside or Lifetime Fitness. As far as this specific location, it's similar to the others in that you'll get all of the necessary weight (free and machines) and cardio stations, with racquetball courts, a basketball court and a pool. I have three reasons for this poor rating: 1. One of their trainers left a dumbbell at a weight machine. I then went to use the machine and had a different employee ask me if I was going to "put that back." On a separate occasion, I had an employee tell me to "make sure I wipe the bench down" before I had even gotten up. Apparently he didn't see the towel sitting behind me. Rude in any event. 2. One of the basketball goals was broken and wasn't replaced for months. The reason we got for the delay was that they were fighting with insurance over who had to pay for it. Needless to say, members didn't get a credit on their bills for not being able to play pickup basketball for months. 3. Currently, the basketball court is routinely left filthy -- bottles, rags, bandages. One rim is a half-foot short and is bent to the side. The other rim is bent forward. While I understand that people may abuse the rims and it's hard to police that, it's not fair to penalize everyone else for it by leaving the court nearly unusable. If you need a gym and get a good deal and just want to do the basics and get in and out, you can go here, but otherwise consider a different gym (or at least a different location).
